At SwiftStore our goal is to get you online for as little cost as possible as quick
as possible. We don't ask for payment upfront, just a monthly amount.
We also allow users to create a store on a one month trial. If you don't like your
site you can walk away at no cost. If you are happy you can try one of our
plans. Your only additional costs will be your per order transaction fee
(depending on plan) and your third party transaction costs.

You can accept both credit card and PayPal payments on your site. You can use either
PayPal or Realex to process payments, the most cost effective one will depend on
the volume of transactions you process each month. You can setup a PayPal account
here www.paypal.com. To set up with Realex we have a registration form in the 'How
To' section of the admin area of the site once you have logged in.

As part of the upload process we manipulate your images in order to reduce the space
you use (so you can have more products without changing plan). In order to keep
your images consistent we would recommend that all images are as square as
possible (i.e. roughly the same height and width). We would also recommend that
your main product images are the same size in order to have a consistent look
on your site.

We suggest that you take a good quality image of a size 600 x 600 or greater. We
then resize this image to fit our pages. Please refrain from uploading images in
a letterbox format i.e. width and short in height, as these can be awkward to resize
in portrait style and can lead to unexpected results. You are better to use either
square images or portrait style i.e. taller than wide.

We have designed the system to be SEO friendly, for example your site will have
tidy urls, i.e. your pages wont end in .html, .aspx etc. The system is also set
up so that your product titles will be in the title of the page – this helps with
SEO.

eBay is an expensive alternative to swiftstore. You have the peace of mind of listing
as many items as you wish without incurring a cost per listing as you do with eBay.
Therefore costs are manageable and known in advance.
